Your first session

Your First Jiu-Jitsu Session

Beginners are welcome. We’ll show you where to go, what to do and how to train safely — there is no expectation that you already know the rules.

Ready when you are

Plan your first class.

Come along to a session — Saturday No-Gi 1:00pm–3:00pm or Sunday Gi 2:00pm–3:30pm. £10 per class, ages 13 and over.

Pay £10 for a single class or £60 for a full month of both classes — or simply pay on the day.

What to expect

Arrive ready to learn.

Come a little before the class starts and introduce yourself to the instructor. You will be guided through the session and can ask questions at any point.

Bring with you

  • Comfortable sports clothing
  • Bottle of water
  • Open mind
  • Willingness to learn

No-Gi

Wear a fitted sports top or rash guard with shorts or leggings. Avoid zips, jewellery and anything that could catch.

Gi

A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi is required. If you’re unsure what to buy, contact us before your first class.
